H2O Volunteers of the Month: Alice and Jack Bolton

Volunteer of the Month H2O

Alice & Jack Bolton

Siblings, Alice and Jack, are exceptionally caring volunteers in the Child and Youth department. Both exemplify respect; interacting kindly with children, staff and members alike. Jack always finds volunteering fun, and likes trying new things and helping kids.  Alice believes that the experience she gains by volunteering with children will help her to become a teacher one day.

Volunteer of the Month Kelowna Family Y

Navkiran Bahia

Nav has been volunteering for the Child & Youth team for just over one year and has become a constant for children and families on Saturday mornings, greeting everyone with a big smile. Whether creating a craft or building with blocks, Nav demonstrates her inclusive nature by welcoming every child regardless of their age or capability.

Make a Difference in Your Community

Whether supporting our programs and events or providing expertise and leadership, volunteers are the core of everything we do. We are able to provide programs and services in part through the generous time of people who have a shared passion for helping others.

Whatever your age, interests, or schedule, there is an opportunity for you to give back to your Okanagan community through the YMCA.

Member Services Greeter

Greet people as they walk in the door and help them find their way at the Y.

Health and Fitness Instruction

Share your passion for fitness and give back to your community.
