YMCA Healthy Hips and Knees

Did you know that people who are prepared for surgery have better hospital experiences, fewer complications and a smoother recovery; and that maintaining a good level of activity will increase the life of your joint replacement?

This class is designed especially for people who are awaiting a total hip or knee replacement surgery, or those who have recently had surgery. The focus will be on increasing strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. Self-referrals are considered on a case-by-case basis based on an instructor evaluation.

Tue, Thu 8:00–9:00 a.m.
Tue, Thu 2:30–3:30 p.m.
