Waterpark Rules and Regulations

Stay safe and have fun at H2O!

Please note: Portions of H2O's pool and waterpark may be used by aquatic user groups, scheduled for swim lessons or closed for special events. Waves and spray toys are turned off during some aquatic fitness classes and swimming lessons.

  • Children under 8 must be within arm's reach of an adult attired in swim wear at all times.
  • Children ages 8 and 9 must have a responsible person 16 yrs or older in the facility
  • Child to adult ratios are as follows:
    • 1:3 Adults to Children ages 1-7
    • 1:5 Adults to Children ages 8-9
  • Climbing, standing, kneeling, or sitting on the spray features is not permitted.
  • No jumping or diving off the platform or ladder by the waterfall or from the sides of the deep end of the wave pool.

Waterslides

  • Maximum operational load at a time: 1 person, 300lbs (136kg)
  • Children shorter than 42 inches (1.07 m) tall are not permitted on this ride.
  • Children under 8 years who meet the height requirement must be accompanied to the top of the stairs by a responsible person 16 years or older. Adult would go down first to meet them at the bottom.
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders.
  • Swim wear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation are not permitted.
  • PFDs and lifejackets are not permitted.
  • Riders must wait for attendant’s start signal before starting the slide.
  • Single riders only.
  • Riders must ride feet first, lying on their back or in a sitting position (sit up to go slower, lie down to go faster).
  • Keep arms and hands inside flumes at all times.
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate, spin, form chains or stop in the slides.
  • Exit the slide exit flume immediately.
  • Caution: pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride these slides.
  • Ride at your own risk.

FlowRider® Rules

  • Height Requirement for body boarding: 42”
  • Height Requirement for stand-up surfing: 52”
  • Riders need to be comfortable swimming in fast moving water.
  • Please remove watches, necklaces, locker keys and bracelets and place in storage bins.
  • Adequate swim wear is highly recommended. Ensure shorts are tied. Bikinis are not recommended as they may come off. Rash guards are permitted.
  • Do not ride under any of the following conditions:
    • Recent injuries—especially head injuries
    • Recent surgery
    • Heart condition
    • Neck, back or bone ailments
    • Pregnant
    • High blood pressure or aneurysms
    • Under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
  • Listen to FlowRider® instructors’ and lifeguards’ recommendations.

WARNING – FLOWRIDER® RISKS

  • Riding the FlowRider® is an extreme sport and high risk recreational activity. You will fall and/or be thrown from the board and propelled to the exit area.
  • Falling may result in the board striking your body or your body striking the surface of the FlowRider® with great force.
  • Before attempting to ride, ask the FlowRider® instructor any questions or concerns you may have.
  • Read and obey all posted signs and pictorials.
  • Listen to FlowRider® instructors’ and lifeguards’ recommendations.
  • Failure to comply with signs or instructions may increase the risk of severe permanent injuries or even death.
  • There are inherent risks in the participation of this activity. Your participation is voluntary, and as such, you are assuming responsibility for all associated risks.
