Pool Rules and Regulations

Stay safe and have fun at H2O!

Please note: Portions of H2O's Pool + Waterpark may be used by aquatic user groups, scheduled for swim lessons or closed for special events. Diving boards, long course availability and length swimming times change regularly according to pool programming. A minimum of two lanes for length swimming are available, except when moving bulkhead (30 minutes) and some special events/programs/swim meets.

  • Shower before entering the pool.
  • Children under 8 and non-swimmers of any age must be within arms-reach of a responsible person 16 years and older at all times. Under this restriction, a ratio of 1 adult to three children must be kept. Children wearing lifejackets or PFDs are assumed to be non-swimmers.
  • All persons with open sores, bandages, head colds, discharging ears/noses or infected eyes are forbidden to enter the pool area.
  • No running, fighting or any form of conduct likely to cause an accident in the pool area.
  • Keep food and refreshments in designated areas only (exception for swim meets).
  • Children using diapers must wear swim diapers.
  • No flips or back dives from pool deck.
  • All accidents must be reported to the Lifeguard and recorded.
  • In case of 3 whistle blasts, clear the pool.

Hot Tub Rules

  • Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years or older.
  • You must be 19 years or older to use the adult hot tub.
  • Maximum amount of time per use is 15 minutes with 15 minutes rest between uses. Not to be combined with other hot zones, such as the steam room.
  • Pregnant women, seniors, and persons with cardiac, respiratory, or blood pressure conditions are not recommended to use these areas without first consulting their physician.
  • No diving or jumping into hot tubs.
  • Remove lifejackets, bathing caps and wet suits while in these areas.
  • Shaving, skin scraping, sexual acts and nudity are not permitted.

Steam Room Rules

  • Children under 13 years must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years or older.
  • High temperature is not recommended for children under 6 years.
  • Pregnant women, seniors, and persons with cardiac, respiratory, or blood pressure conditions are not recommended to use these areas without first consulting their physician.
  • Maximum amount of time per use is 15 minutes with 15 minutes rest between uses. Not to be combined with other hot zones, such as the hot tub.
  • No aromatic body oils or scented lotions as they may cause allergic reactions.
  • Remove lifejackets, bathing caps and wet suits while in this area.
  • For your safety, please do not touch heater or spray water into sensor
  • Shower before entering the pool
  • Shaving, skin scraping, sexual acts and nudity are not permitted.
  • Sweat suits or rubber/plastic suits are not to be worn. We do not allow patrons to practice extreme weight loss techniques using our amenities.
  • No swimming, splashing or swimming underwater.

Diving Boards (1 meter and 3 meter)

  • No PFDs or children under 8 to access the 3 meter board.
  • One person at a time on the diving board and structure.
  • Patrons using the boards are to swim to the nearest wall after their turn without any assistance.
  • No swimming underneath the boards while they are in use.
  • Hanging from the diving boards is not permitted.
  • No flippers on the board.
  • No bum drops off the boards.
  • Single bounce only.
  • Hang onto rails when climbing up the ladder or out on the boards.
  • Look before you jump and jump straight out and not to the side.
  • Users must be able to jump off the boards without being caught by someone in the water.
  • Swim directly to the nearest side of the pool to exit.

Use of Pool Toys and Equipment:

  • Standing on mats is not permitted.
  • Arm floats/water wings may be used in all areas. Parents must be with in arms’ reach at all times.
  • PFD’s are available for public use. Patrons are welcome to bring their own PFD’s for use during all public swims. Children wearing PFD’s while in the pool are assumed to be non-swimmers regardless of age and must remain within arms’ length of a responsible person 16 years and older at all times.

Family Change Rooms

  • The family change rooms are for use by parents with small children, the elderly and patrons with special needs.
  • Parents with children 6 years of age or older (of the opposite sex) are encouraged to use the family change rooms rather than the men’s or women’s change rooms.
  • Patrons under the age of 19 may not share a changing stall.

Observation Deck, Wet Viewing Deck and Lobby Guidelines

  • Customers are permitted to consume food and drink on the observation deck and the lobby.
  • Patrons are not permitted to use glass containers on either the wet or dry viewing areas.
  • Running, fighting, and other inappropriate behavior is not permitted in these areas.
  • Patrons may not take food and beverages onto the pool deck or into any of the pools with the exception of water in plastic containers.
  • Skateboards and Rollerblades may not be ridden inside the facility.
  • Wet customers are expected to remain within the pool and spectator deck area. They are not allowed to enter dry lobby area, as this creates a slipping hazard. However, in the event of an emergency, customers may be directed to the lobby.
  • All doorways, emergency exits and Focal Points must remain clear from debris.
  • Patrons who do not follow our facility code of conduct may be asked to leave the facility.
